Carolyn customized an accounting package using QuickBooks Online, Hubdoc, and Bill.com cloud applications that automate the daily accounting and bill payments for a client. Data entry has been replaced with optical character recognition of scanned documents and the documents are auto filed in the HubDoc cloud application for anywhere/anytime access. Bank statements are available for use in HubDoc from the banking institution on the date issued. The bank reconciliation took Carolyn just 20 seconds to complete and the financial statement was issued on the second day of the month. The client uses a HubDoc phone app or HubDoc email address to capture the purchase information. Carolyn’s initiative in researching a solution for the client demonstrates what it means to be visionary.
