It was obvious that he truly cares about creating paid leave at the federal level for America workers dealing with medical and other life responsibilities like parental leave and elder care. He really listened to what everyone had to say and challenged us to spread the word and celebrate businesses in our communities who have family friendly work policies.”

When her daughters were born with health complications, she said that was worried she would have to quit her job to take care of them. But instead of terminating her, the company worked to find an alternative, part-time work telework schedule that would accommodate both her work and family demands. Iris said that the flexibility of teleworking allows her to provide for her family yet never miss a doctor appointment with her daughters.”
