QuickBooks® is a widely used accounting program in many small businesses. It is a great way for small businesses to manage their activity. QuickBooks offers the following features:
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable by customer and vendor
- Payroll, including printing 1099s, W2s, W3s, and federal forms 941 and 940
- Estimates, invoices, statements, and assessing finance charges
- Reporting such as a profit and loss, balance sheet, and general ledger
- Beginning with QuickBooks '99, integration with Microsoft Word and Excel
