Briefly describe a typical workday at Anderson ZurMuehlen.
I am not sure there is anything “typical” about a work day for me. About 75% of the time I am running to different clients throughout the day and sometimes am able to actually come to visit my office. I think this is what I love most about my job is that there is nothing typical about it!

I am the leader of the Financial Institution Specialty Team. I work very heavily in banks and credit unions. I do also provide work for construction, manufacturing, and transportation clients. Spend time with my family – husband Damon and kids Alexa and Cameron hiking, backpacking, camping, and skiing. We love enjoying anything outdoors in Montana!

Becoming a Shareholder. I still remember how I felt when I received the offer to become a shareholder of the firm.
What inspires you?
When I am working, what inspires me most is knowing how I have helped my client. I remember about a year ago when a client told me how valuable he felt it was that I was willing to sit down with him and just discuss the business’s future and shows real interest and concern over what they were experiencing. It is moments like this I believe we all strive for as trusted advisors.

What is on your wish list for the next ten years with Anderson ZurMuehlen?
I am excited to see how technology and the changes in the profession will change us as a firm. Although change can be scary, I really think there are some amazing opportunities for us in the future, both as a firm and as individuals. With all of the technology changes, we really have a great opportunity to help our clients succeed.

They have helped me in so many ways. I have had great coaches and mentors along the way that have helped me not only from overall career
If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be?
If I was vacationing, I would most likely be in Italy or somewhere in the middle of nowhere on a mountain. I would love to be sipping a glass of wine and people watching. I am fascinated by everything around me and love to observe people, but I also love solitude and the beauty of nature. I think I need a balance of both in my life – being surrounded by people in one moment and surrounded by nature in the next.
Fill in the blank: I once met
I met Terrell Davis before a Denver Broncos game. It was the year he won MVP, so it was very exciting to meet him.
What does your workspace look like?
95% of the time like a tornado went through. The other 5% of the time I furiously clean it, and it is spotless. I am hoping to someday make it clean 100% of the time!
What song title best describes your personality?
I had to have my husband help me with this question. I feel he knows my personality and how I display it to others better than I do. He told me that the song that best describes me is “Shiny Happy People” by R.E.M. I think it is because he knows I wished I lived in a world of all sunshine and rainbows.
